Trip Grid
Visualize your complete ride history in a powerful matrix format
Overview
The Trip Grid displays your trips as rows and coasters as columns, with each cell showing how many times you rode that coaster during that specific visit. This provides an at-a-glance view of your entire riding history.
Grid Structure
📊 Columns (Coasters)
Each column represents a unique coaster from all parks you've visited.
- Vertical Text - Coaster names are rotated 90° to save horizontal space
- Clickable Links - Click coaster name to view its details page
- Color Coding - Alternating background colors help distinguish park groups
📅 Rows (Trips)
Each row represents one park visit on a specific date.
- Park Name - Sticky column (always visible when scrolling)
- Visit Date - When you visited the park
- Trip Total - Total ride count for that visit (sticky column)
- Clickable Rows - Click row to edit trip details
🎯 Cells (Ride Counts)
Numbers in cells indicate how many times you rode that coaster during that trip.
- Highlighted Badges - Non-zero counts shown with primary color badge
- Empty Cells - Transparent dot indicates coaster not ridden during that visit
Sticky Headers & Totals
The grid uses sticky positioning to keep important information visible while scrolling:
Sticky Columns
Park Name, Date, and Trip Total stay visible when scrolling horizontally
Sticky Header
Coaster names stay visible when scrolling vertically
Column Totals
Top row shows lifetime total rides for each coaster
Filters
Use the collapsible filter panel to narrow down the grid display:
Filter by Park
Show only trips to a specific park. Useful for tracking your history at your favorite parks.
Filter by Year
Show only trips from a specific year. Great for comparing yearly progress.
Understanding Totals
Filtered Total
Shows the sum of rides matching your current filters (appears in the "Life Time Totals" row)
Account Global Total
When filtering by park, an extra row shows your total across ALL parks for comparison

- 💡 Park Focus: Filter by a single park to see your complete riding history there
